Our institution was established in 1943 in the building that still serves as the Bolu İzzet Baysal State Hospital Gynecology and Childhood Unit today. In 1993, it was moved to the building, which was built by the İzzet Baysal Foundation and is now called the Central Unit, and renamed as Bolu İzzet Baysal State Hospital.
In accordance with the studies and related articles of our Ministry of Health, as of 26.09.2006, our Province Köroğlu State Hospital (Former SSK Hospital) and as of 23.03.2011 with our Province Gynecology and Pediatrics Hospital under a single administrative structure, the Central Unit, Köroğlu Unit and It started to serve under the name of Bolu İzzet Baysal State Hospital in three units as Gynecology and Childhood Unit.
01.11.2012 T.C Ministry of Health Turkey Public Hospitals Institution started to serve under the General Secretariat of Bolu Provincial Public Hospitals Association.
In 2014, our hospital became affiliated with Abant İzzet Baysal University Faculty of Medicine, and on November 9, 2015, they were separated as Training and Research Hospital and State Hospital.
As of 01.10.2017 sects, T.C. It provides service in 3 units as Bolu İzzet Baysal State Hospital under the Ministry of Health, Bolu Provincial Health Directorate.
