The main task of the unit is to purchase goods, services and consultancy services needed by the units within the hospital and to realize the construction works from the resources of the Revolving Fund, General Budget and Special Provincial Administration Budget.
 
The Other Duties of the Unit:
The unit also performs some additional duties in order to perform these basic duties listed above. For this purpose, legislative changes are followed and the current legislation is brought to the staffs through in-service training. The documents used in the tenders are updated when there are legislative changes.

In addition, to deliver the files related to the tenders coming from the courts to the relevant places, to return the bid bond or the bid bond deposited for the tender, to return the performance bond or performance bond deposited for the tender, to prepare a work experience document if the contractor firms are required to have a work experience document, To inform the hospital administration regularly about the activities, to convey the requests and problems it carries out to the hospital administration.
