Blood Transfusion Center; It is the unit that is not authorized to take blood from a blood donor except in emergencies, procures blood and its components from the Blood Donation Center it is affiliated with, and prepares it for use in patients by cross-comparison for transfusion and other necessary tests.
In the situations where emergency transfusion is required, the transfusion requirement reported by the attending physician is met from the stocks of the transfusion center.
