Palliative Care Service can be defined as the treatment that aims to increase the quality of life of people as a result of serious and severe diseases. With this treatment method, it is aimed to maximize the comfort of life in the disease process until the death of the person.
Health services are provided with a 17-bed Palliative Care Service in the Köroğlu Unit of İzzet Baysal State Hospital and a 30-bed Palliative Care Service in the Central Unit.
